Ingredients
- 1 pound elbow macaroni
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 cups whole milk
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Cook the macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the flour and whisk until smooth.
- Gradually add the milk, whisking constantly, until the mixture is smooth and thickened.
- Add the cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
- Add the cooked macaroni to the sauce and stir until well coated.
- Transfer the macaroni and cheese to a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
