  • 1 celery stalk, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 cups vegetable broth
  • 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
