Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 tomatoes, cut into wedges
  • 2 cups french fries
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine the soy sauce, vinegar, minced garlic, cumin, paprika, and black pepper. Add the sliced beef and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  • Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes, until browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add the sliced onions and cook for 2-3 minutes, until softened. Add the tomato wedges and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  • Return the beef to the skillet and stir in the french fries. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, until everything is heated through.
  • Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot.
