Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Instructions

  • In a bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, garlic, and ginger. Mix well.
  • Add beef to the marinade and let it sit for 30 minutes.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add onion, carrot, and bell pepper. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until vegetables are tender.
  • Push the vegetables to one side of the skillet and add the marinated beef. Cook for 2-3 minutes until beef is cooked through.
  • Stir in green onions and cook for an additional minute.
  • Serve hot with steamed rice.
