Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup warm milk
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Your choice of fillings (e.g. sausage, cheese, fruit, etc.)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk and let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
- Add melted butter and egg to the yeast mixture.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Cover and let the dough rise for 1-2 hours until doubled in size.
- Punch down the dough and divide it into equal portions.
