Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup BBQ sauce
- 1/4 cup diced onions
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- 8 onion rings
- Lettuce, tomato, and pickles for topping
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, BBQ sauce, diced onions, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
- Form the mixture into 4 patties.
- Preheat a grill or skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired level of doneness.
- During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.
- Toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster.
- Assemble the burgers by placing a patty on the bottom half of each bun. Top with 2 onion rings, lettuce, tomato, and pickles. Spread additional BBQ sauce on the top half of the bun if desired.
