Ingredients

  • 1 lb. thinly sliced steak
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 4 oz. provolone cheese, sliced
  • 1 head of lettuce, leaves separated
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. onion powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper

Instructions

  • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add the sliced steak to the skillet and season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  • Cook the steak for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned on all sides.
  • Add the sliced peppers and onions to the skillet and continue cooking for an additional 5-7 minutes, until the vegetables are tender and the steak is cooked to your liking.
  • Remove the skillet from the heat and top the steak and vegetables with the sliced provolone cheese.
  • Cover the skillet with a lid and let the cheese melt for 2-3 minutes.
  • To assemble the lettuce wraps, place a spoonful of the steak and vegetable mixture onto a lettuce leaf and roll it up tightly.
