Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken tenders
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 egg
- 2 cups panko breadcrumbs
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°F.
- In a bowl, mix together the flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
- In another bowl, whisk together the buttermilk and egg.
- In a third bowl, place the panko breadcrumbs.
- Dip each chicken tender in the flour mixture, then the buttermilk mixture, and finally the panko breadcrumbs, pressing the breadcrumbs onto the chicken to coat well.
- Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the chicken tenders in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Transfer the cooked chicken tenders to a paper towel-lined baking sheet and keep warm in the oven while frying the remaining batches.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
