Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon mirin
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 slices of cheese
- Lettuce, tomato, and onion for garnish
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, soy sauce, mirin, sesame oil, grated ginger, and minced garlic. Mix well.
- Form the mixture into 4 patties, about 1/2 inch thick.
- Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired level of doneness.
- Toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster.
- Place a slice of cheese on each patty and allow it to melt slightly.
- Assemble the burgers by placing a patty on the bottom half of each bun. Top with lettuce, tomato, and onion, if desired. Place the top half of the bun on top.
- Serve the burgers immediately and enjoy!
