- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1/4 cup hot sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 8 biscuits, baked
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Cut chicken breasts into 4 equal pieces and pound to an even thickness.
- In a shallow dish, mix together flour, salt, black pepper, paprika, and cayenne pepper.
- In another shallow dish, whisk together buttermilk and hot sauce.
- Dip each chicken piece into the flour mixture, then the buttermilk mixture, and then back into the flour mixture.
- Place chicken pieces on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.
- In a small bowl, mix together honey and additional hot sauce to taste.
- Split biscuits in half and place a chicken patty on each biscuit.
- Drizzle hot honey over the chicken and serve immediately.
