Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup hot sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 8 biscuits, baked

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F.
  • Cut chicken breasts into 4 equal pieces and pound to an even thickness.
  • In a shallow dish, mix together flour, salt, black pepper, paprika, and cayenne pepper.
  • In another shallow dish, whisk together buttermilk and hot sauce.
  • Dip each chicken piece into the flour mixture, then the buttermilk mixture, and then back into the flour mixture.
  • Place chicken pieces on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.
  • In a small bowl, mix together honey and additional hot sauce to taste.
  • Split biscuits in half and place a chicken patty on each biscuit.
  • Drizzle hot honey over the chicken and serve immediately.
