Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup diced onion
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 slices of cheese
- Lettuce, tomato, and condiments of your choice
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, diced onion, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
- Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty.
- Preheat a grill or skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
- During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheese on each patty and allow it to melt.
- Toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster.
- Assemble the burgers by placing a patty on the bottom half of each bun. Top with lettuce, tomato, and your favorite condiments. Cover with the top half of the bun.
- Serve the homborgar with a side of fries or a salad for a complete meal.
