Ingredients
- 2 slices of whole wheat bread
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup of milk
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon of protein powder
- 1 tablespoon of honey
- 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1/4 cup of fresh berries
- 1 tablespoon of almond butter
Instructions
- In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, protein powder, honey, and cinnamon.
- Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, making sure to coat both sides.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly coat with cooking spray or butter.
- Place the coated bread slices onto the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
