Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- 2. Place the chicken breasts in a shallow dish and pour the buttermilk over them. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- 3. In a separate shallow dish, combine the whole wheat flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- 4. Remove the chicken breasts from the buttermilk, allowing any excess to drip off. Dredge each chicken breast in the flour mixture, pressing firmly to adhere.
- 5. Place the coated chicken breasts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Spray the tops of the chicken breasts with cooking spray.
- 6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown.
- 7. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce or alongside a fresh salad.
- 8. Enjoy!
