Ingredients

  • 1 cup besan (gram flour)
  • 1/2 cup suji (semolina)
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon green chili paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon eno fruit salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon hing (asafoetida)
  • 1/2 cup water

Directions

    Mix besan, suji, yogurt, ginger paste, green chili paste, salt, and water in a bowl until smooth.

    Grease a steaming plate or baking dish with a little oil.

    Heat oil in a pan; add mustard, sesame, cumin seeds, and hing until they start to splutter.
