Ingredients

  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 2 tbsp besan (gram flour)
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 2-3 dried red chilies
  • 10-12 curry leaves
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 2-3 green chilies, slit
  • 1/2 tsp asafoetida
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tbsp ghee or oil
  • Fresh coriander for garnish

    Whisk together yogurt, besan, turmeric, and water in a bowl until smooth.
