Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1/4 cup sliced black olives
- 1/4 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup chopped cucumber
- 1/4 cup chopped red onion
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh dill
- 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, diced onion, minced garlic, dried oregano, dried basil, dried thyme, salt, black pepper, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, chopped fresh parsley, beaten egg, and milk. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- Shape the meat mixture into small patties or meatballs, about 2 inches in diameter.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the meat patties or meatballs and cook until browned on all sides and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes.
- While the meat is cooking, prepare the Greek salad topping. In a small bowl, combine the crumbled feta cheese, sliced black olives, diced tomatoes, chopped cucumber, chopped red onion, chopped fresh dill, Greek yogurt, and lemon juice. Mix well to combine.
- Serve the cooked meat patties or meatballs with the Greek salad topping on the side. Enjoy!
