Ingredients
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup nuts (such as almonds, walnuts, or pecans), chopped
- 1/2 cup seeds (such as pumpkin or sunflower seeds)
- 1/2 cup dried fruit (such as raisins, cranberries, or apricots), chopped
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the rolled oats, nuts, seeds, dried fruit, honey or maple syrup, melted coconut oil, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt. Mix well to ensure all the ingredients are evenly coated.
- Spread the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. Press it down gently to create an even layer.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the granola is golden brown and fragrant. Stir the granola halfway through baking to ensure even cooking.
- Remove the baking sheet from the oven and let the granola cool completely. It will become crisp as it cools.
- Once the granola is cool, break it into small clusters and store in an airtight container.
- Serve with yogurt, milk, or enjoy it on its own as a healthy snack.
