- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- In a shallow dish, mix together flour, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- In another shallow dish, whisk together milk and breadcrumbs.
- Dip chicken pieces into flour mixture, then milk mixture, then back into flour mixture.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken pieces and cook until golden brown on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
- Transfer chicken to a baking dish.
- In a small saucepan, whisk together honey, soy sauce, cornstarch, and water.
- Cook over medium heat until sauce thickens, about 5 minutes.
- Pour sauce over chicken.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, until chicken is cooked through.
