Ingredients

  • 1 pound of chicken breast
  • 2 tablespoons of gochujang sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon of ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Cooked rice, for serving

Instructions

  • In a bowl, mix together the gochujang sauce, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger.
  • Add the chicken breast to the bowl and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  • Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the marinated chicken breast and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side.
  • Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add the sliced bell peppers and onion.
  • Cook until the vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes.
  • Return the chicken to the skillet and stir to combine with the vegetables.
  • Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat everything through.
  • Serve the gochujang delight over cooked rice and garnish with chopped green onions.
