Ingredients
- 1 pound of chicken breast
- 2 tablespoons of gochujang sauce
- 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of honey
- 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon of ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 green onions, chopped
- Cooked rice, for serving
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together the gochujang sauce, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger.
- Add the chicken breast to the bowl and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the marinated chicken breast and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the sliced bell peppers and onion.
- Cook until the vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and stir to combine with the vegetables.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat everything through.
- Serve the gochujang delight over cooked rice and garnish with chopped green onions.
