Ingredients

  • 1 block of tempe, sliced into small pieces
  • 3 cups of cooked rice
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of sweet soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of pepper
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil

Instructions

  • Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  • Add the sliced tempe and fry until golden brown, about 5 minutes.
  • Remove the tempe from the pan and set aside.
  • In the same pan, add the garlic and onion and sauté until fragrant, about 2 minutes.
  • Add the cooked rice and stir until well combined.
  • Add the soy sauce, sweet soy sauce, salt, and pepper and stir until the rice is evenly coated.
  • Push the rice to one side of the pan and add the beaten eggs to the other side.
  • Scramble the eggs until cooked, then mix them into the rice.
  • Add the fried tempe to the pan and stir until well combined.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!
