About this recipe

Indulge in our Fried Noodle Delight, a quick and flavorful dish that's perfect for a weeknight meal. Fresh vegetables, your choice of protein, and perfectly cooked noodles come together with a delightful blend of soy sauce and sesame oil. This modern take ensures the noodles are never soggy and each ingredient shines, offering a harmonious balance of texture and taste.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces noodles
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 12 ounces protein (chicken, beef, tofu, etc.), thinly sliced
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (such as bell peppers, carrots, bok choy)
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 green onions, chopped

Directions

  1. 1

Boil the noodles according to package instructions, then rinse with cold water and drain thoroughly to prevent overcooking.

  2. 2

Heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil in a large wok over medium heat. Add minced garlic and ginger, sautéing until fragrant.

  3. 3

Add the sliced protein and stir-fry until browned.

  4. 4

Add mixed vegetables to the wok, stir-frying for a few minutes until tender-crisp.

  5. 5

Push the vegetables to one side and pour the beaten eggs into the wok, scrambling until cooked.

  6. 6

Add the cooked noodles and soy sauce, tossing everything to combine.

  7. 7

Stir in the green onions before serving.

Chef's tip

For extra flavor, consider adding a few drops of chili oil or a sprinkle of sesame seeds before serving.
