Ingredients
- 4 fish fillets
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- 1. In a shallow dish, mix together the flour, salt, black pepper, and paprika.
- 2. Dredge the fish fillets in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
- 3. Heat the vegetable oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- 4. Add the fish fillets to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- 5. Remove the fish from the skillet and set aside.
- 6. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant.
- 7. Stir in the sour cream and lemon juice, and cook for another 2 minutes, until heated through.
- 8. Return the fish fillets to the skillet and spoon the sour cream sauce over them.
- 9. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, until the fish is heated through and the sauce has thickened slightly.
- 10. Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
- 11. Serve hot with rice or mashed potatoes.
