Ingredients
- 4 chicken drumsticks
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 cup buttermilk
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, salt, paprika, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper.
- Dip each chicken drumstick into the buttermilk, then coat it in the flour mixture.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet or Dutch oven over medium-high heat.
- Carefully place the coated chicken drumsticks into the hot oil.
- Fry the chicken for about 10-12 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
