Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 package dumpling wrappers
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, onion, bell pepper, garlic, thyme, paprika, cumin, salt, black pepper, breadcrumbs, and water.
  • Place a spoonful of the beef mixture in the center of a dumpling wrapper. Brush the edges of the wrapper with the beaten egg and fold the wrapper in half, pressing the edges together to seal.
  • Repeat with the remaining wrappers and beef mixture.
  • Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the dumplings and fry until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
