Ingredients
- 1 lb. flank steak, sliced into thin strips
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 yellow onion, sliced
- 2 tbsp. olive oil
- 1 tbsp. chili powder
- 1 tsp. cumin
- 1 tsp. smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. onion powder
- 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 8-10 flour tortillas
- Optional toppings: shredded cheese, sour cream, guacamole, salsa
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the sliced steak, bell peppers, and onion.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the spice mixture over the steak and vegetables, and toss to coat.
- Heat a large skillet over high heat. Add the steak and vegetables to the skillet, and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the steak is browned and the vegetables are tender.
- Warm the tortillas in the microwave or on a griddle.
- Serve the fajita mixture on the warm tortillas, and top with shredded cheese, sour cream, guacamole, and salsa, if desired.
