Ingredients

  • 1 lb. fish fillets
  • 1 cup tomato puree
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp. ginger, grated
  • 1 tsp. cumin powder
  • 1 tsp. coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp. turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp. red chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp. garam masala
  • 2 tbsp. oil
  • Salt, to taste

Instructions

  • Heat oil in a pan and sauté onions until golden brown.
  • Add garlic and ginger and sauté for another minute.
  • Add tomato puree and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Add cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
  • Add fish fillets and cook for 5-7 minutes or until fish is cooked through.
  • Add heavy cream and garam masala. Mix well and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  • Serve hot with rice or naan bread.
