- 1 cup dried chickpeas
- 1/2 cup fresh parsley
- 1/2 cup fresh cilantro
- 1 small onion
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- Salt to taste
- Vegetable oil for frying
