Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon berbere spice
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Lettuce, tomato, and onion slices for topping

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped onion, minced garlic, berbere spice, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  • Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty.
