Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon berbere spice
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 hamburger buns
- Lettuce, tomato, and onion slices for topping
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped onion, minced garlic, berbere spice, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty.
- Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook the burgers for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
