Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the onion, garlic, and bell pepper to the skillet. Cook until the vegetables are softened.
- Stir in the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, oregano, basil, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish. Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
