Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 1/2 cup ground pork
- 1/4 cup chopped shrimp
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon minced ginger
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the flour and warm water to make a dough.
- Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for 30 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the ground pork, chopped shrimp, soy sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, minced ginger, minced garlic, sugar, salt, white pepper, and chopped green onions.
- Take a small portion of the dough and roll it into a thin circle.
- Place a spoonful of the filling in the center of the dough circle.
- Fold the dough over the filling and pinch the edges to seal.
- Repeat with the remaining dough and filling.
- Steam the dumplings in a steamer for about 10 minutes, or until cooked through.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
