Ingredients
- 2 cups basmati rice
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- 2 tomatoes, diced
- 1 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, bell peppers)
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- Salt to taste
- 4 cups water
- Fresh cilantro for garnish

Rinse and soak the basmati rice in water for 30 minutes. Drain before cooking.
