- 2 lbs chicken, cut into pieces
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 tomatoes, pureed
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, grated
- 2 green chilies, slit
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 cup yogurt
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp oil
Instructions
- In a large bowl, marinate the chicken with yogurt, ginger, garlic, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, and salt. Let it sit for at least 30 minutes.
