Ingredients
- 1 bunch of spinach
- 200 grams of paneer
- 2 onions
- 2 tomatoes
- 2 green chilies
- 1 tablespoon of ginger-garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon of red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon of garam masala
- Salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons of oil
Instructions
- 1. Wash the spinach thoroughly and blanch it in boiling water for 2 minutes. Drain and blend it into a smooth puree.
- 2. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
- 3. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute.
- 4. Add chopped tomatoes and green chilies. Cook until the tomatoes are soft and mushy.
- 5. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
- 6. Add the spinach puree and cook for 5 minutes.
- 7. Cut the paneer into cubes and add it to the spinach mixture. Cook for another 5 minutes.
- 8. Sprinkle garam masala and mix well.
- 9. Serve hot with roti or rice.
