Ingredients
- 1 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon mustard powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon ground ginger
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine all the ingredients.
- Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
- Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let it cool.
- Strain the sauce to remove any solids.
- Transfer the sauce to a bottle or jar and refrigerate.
- Allow the sauce to sit for at least 24 hours before using to allow the flavors to meld together.
