Ingredients

  • 1 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon mustard powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon ground ginger
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • In a saucepan, combine all the ingredients.
  • Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  • Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and let it cool.
  • Strain the sauce to remove any solids.
  • Transfer the sauce to a bottle or jar and refrigerate.
  • Allow the sauce to sit for at least 24 hours before using to allow the flavors to meld together.
