Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 cup marinara sauce

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, onion, garlic, egg, milk, salt, black pepper, oregano, basil, and red pepper flakes. Mix well.
  • Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the meatballs. Cook for about 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned on all sides.
  • Pour the marinara sauce over the meatballs and reduce the heat to low. Cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through.
