Ingredients
- 1 kg chicken, cut into pieces
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 3 tomatoes, pureed
- 2 green chilies, sliced
- 1 tablespoon ginger paste
- 1 tablespoon garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- Salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons oil
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan and add the chopped onions. Cook until golden brown.
- Add ginger paste and garlic paste. Cook for a minute.
- Add the chicken pieces and cook until they are browned.
- Add the pureed tomatoes, green chilies, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well.
- Cover the pan and let the chicken cook on low heat for about 20 minutes or until it is tender.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with naan or rice.
