Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • Cooked rice, for serving

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger. Set aside.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  • Add beef slices to the skillet and cook until browned, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove beef from skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add broccoli florets and cook for 2-3 minutes, until slightly tender.
  • Return beef to the skillet with the broccoli.
