Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 2 tbsp chilli powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
- Add the onion, garlic, and bell pepper to the pot and cook until softened.
- Stir in the diced tomatoes, kidney beans, black beans, tomato sauce, chilli powder, cumin, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Simmer the chilli for 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
- Serve hot with your favorite toppings, such as shredded cheese, sour cream, and chopped green onions.
