Deadly Celery Soup
This soup is not for the faint of heart. It's packed with flavor and will leave you feeling satisfied and a little bit dangerous.
Nutrition Per Serving
- 1 head of celery, chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 4 cups of chicken broth
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 1/4 cup of butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the onion and garlic and sauté until the onion is translucent.
- Add the celery and sauté for another 5 minutes.
- Add the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Using an immersion blender, blend the soup until smooth.
- Add the heavy cream and stir to combine.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
