Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 2 cups vegetable oil, for frying

Instructions

  • In a shallow dish, combine the flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, thyme, oregano, basil, and cayenne pepper. Mix well.
  • Dip each chicken breast into the almond milk, then coat it with the flour mixture. Make sure to press the flour mixture onto the chicken to ensure a crispy coating.
  • Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the coated chicken breasts and cook for about 5-6 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Remove the chicken from the skillet and place it on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
  • Serve the dairy-free fried chicken hot with your favorite side dishes.
  • Enjoy!
