Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 2 cups vegetable oil, for frying
Instructions
- In a shallow dish, combine the flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, thyme, oregano, basil, and cayenne pepper. Mix well.
- Dip each chicken breast into the almond milk, then coat it with the flour mixture. Make sure to press the flour mixture onto the chicken to ensure a crispy coating.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the coated chicken breasts and cook for about 5-6 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and place it on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
- Serve the dairy-free fried chicken hot with your favorite side dishes.
- Enjoy!
