Ingredients
- 1 pound ground sausage
- 1 tablespoon curry powder
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground sausage, curry powder, turmeric, cumin, paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all the spices are evenly distributed.
- Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface. Cut it in half lengthwise.
- Divide the sausage mixture into two equal portions. Shape each portion into a log and place it lengthwise on each half of the puff pastry.
- Brush the edges of the puff pastry with the beaten egg. Fold the pastry over the sausage and press the edges to seal.
- Cut each log into smaller rolls, about 1 inch wide. Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the tops of the rolls with the remaining beaten egg.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and the sausage is cooked through.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
