- 1 box manicotti shells
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 15 oz container ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 jar marinara sauce
Instructions
- Cook ground beef, onion, and garlic in a skillet over medium heat until beef is browned. Drain excess fat.
- In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Add cooked beef mixture to cheese mixture and stir to combine.
- Stuff uncooked manicotti shells with cheese and beef mixture.
- Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of the crockpot.
- Arrange stuffed manicotti shells in the crockpot.
- Pour remaining marinara sauce over the top of the shells.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or until pasta is tender.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
