Ingredients

  • 1 box manicotti shells
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 15 oz container ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 jar marinara sauce

Instructions

  • Cook ground beef, onion, and garlic in a skillet over medium heat until beef is browned. Drain excess fat.
  • In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  • Add cooked beef mixture to cheese mixture and stir to combine.
  • Stuff uncooked manicotti shells with cheese and beef mixture.
  • Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of the crockpot.
  • Arrange stuffed manicotti shells in the crockpot.
  • Pour remaining marinara sauce over the top of the shells.
  • Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or until pasta is tender.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!
