Cottage Maple Cookies
These soft and chewy cookies are made with real maple syrup and have a hint of cinnamon. Perfect for a cozy night in!

- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the maple syrup, egg, and vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Using a cookie scoop or spoon, drop dough onto the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
