Ingredients
- 1 bunch of collard greens
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 cup of vegetable broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- 1. Wash the collard greens thoroughly and remove the tough stems.
- 2. Stack the leaves on top of each other and roll them up tightly.
- 3. Slice the rolled leaves into thin strips.
- 4. Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- 5. Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the pot and sauté until fragrant.
- 6. Add the collard greens to the pot and stir well to coat them in the oil.
- 7. Pour in the vegetable broth and season with salt and pepper.
- 8. Cover the pot and simmer for 20-30 minutes, or until the collard greens are tender.
