Ingredients

  • 3 cups sparkling water
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced
  • 3-inch piece fresh ginger, thinly sliced
  • 20 black peppercorns
  • 20 cloves
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 2 ½ tablespoons honey
  • 5–6 drops vanilla extract
  • Ice cubes

    Add granulated sugar to a pan over medium heat and allow it to caramelize slightly.
