Ingredients

  • 8 oz Chinese egg noodles
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup cabbage, shredded
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Cook the noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
  • Add minced garlic and sliced onion to the pan. Stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Add julienned carrot, sliced bell pepper, and shredded cabbage to the pan. Stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are slightly tender.
  • Push the vegetables to one side of the pan and add the cooked noodles to the other side.
  • In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, sugar, and black pepper. Pour the sauce over the noodles and vegetables.
  • Toss everything together until well combined and heated through.
  • Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot.
