Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup Marsala wine
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  • 1. In a shallow dish, combine flour, salt, and black pepper.
  • 2. Dredge chicken breasts in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
  • 3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  • 4. Add chicken breasts to the skillet and cook until browned on both sides, about 4-5 minutes per side.
  • 5. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
  • 6. In the same skillet, add Marsala wine and chicken broth.
  • 7. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2 minutes, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
  • 8. Stir in heavy cream and return chicken to the skillet.
  • 9. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and sauce has thickened.
  • 10. Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
