Ingredients
- 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes per side. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Add the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Slice the cooked chicken breasts into thin strips and add them to the skillet. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.
- Add the cooked fettuccine pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
- Serve the chicken alfredo hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
