  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup desiccated coconut
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons golden syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 tablespoons boiling water

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, combine the rolled oats, desiccated coconut, all-purpose flour, and brown sugar.
  • In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter and golden syrup over low heat.
