Ingredients
- 1 pre-made pie crust
- 2 cups fresh cherries, pitted
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Whipped cream for topping
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Place the pre-made pie crust in a pie dish and set aside.
- In a medium saucepan, combine the cherries, sugar, cornstarch, and salt.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and the cherries release their juices, about 5-7 minutes.
